New house, new baby, new camera?

I apologize for the lack of pictures lately. My camera's batteries were virtually unchargeable, so I got some new ones. We went to the house today to take some shots, with the new batteries fully charged. Much to my dismay, however, the camera still wouldn't stay on for more than a few seconds. I'm thinking maybe it's the camera that needs replacing. Oh well.

You'll just have to trust me when I say that the house is looking good. Wood floors in. Carpets in. Kitchen cabinets in. Bathroom tile in. Many of the fixtures and hardware (door handles, cabinet handles, etc.) are done. Fridge and oven are in place. Microwave and dishwasher are on deck. Lots more that I can't think of right now.

A more thorough update, pictures included, will come as soon as I'm able.

Good news!

We had a follow up ultrasound this morning and got some very good news. The fibroids are getting smaller and have moved out of the baby's way. So there will be no need for a scheduled c-section. Yay! The baby looked awesome and very playful. He or she kept sticking out her tongue. SOOOO cute!

The estimated weight of Baby Breen is 3 lbs 9 oz. Although the doctor told us they typically average a little on the high side. And we found out that our little one is very smart--well, their head is in the 95 percentile for size. (Of course all I could think was OUCH!)

With such a great report, we're finished with the ultrasounds. We won't need another one. From here we move forward with doctor visits every other week until 36 weeks (Nov. 11) and then we go weekly. I can't believe how much it feels we're nearing the end. How exciting!

Love you all! A&A

What a weekend!

U2, 3 nights of a house full of guests, 6 hours of baby class, 3 Renshaw Wedding parties (pre-karaoke party on Friday, a beautiful wedding on Saturday and a post-picnic today) and 1 pot luck at church. Gosh! That sounds like the 12 days of Christmas.

Here are some pictures from the wedding. The weather could not have been more beautiful!

Enjoying the beautiful weather and awaiting the arrival of the bride.
